Miss Illinois All American 2025
Chicago, IL
Elizabeth Laffey is honored to hold the title of Miss Illinois All American! Born and raised on the Northwest side of Chicago, she is an avid Cubs fan and can often be found cheering on the Cubbies during summer weekends at Wrigley Field.
During the off season, Elizabeth enjoys hunting for vintage gems at local thrift stores and is proud to say that over half of her wardrobe is thrifted. She believes thrifting is one of the easiest and most accessible ways to promote sustainable and cyclical fashion.
One of Elizabeth’s greatest passions—and the main reason she began her journey in pageantry—is spreading awareness about obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). Diagnosed at the age of 10, she knows firsthand what it feels like to struggle with the condition and feel alone. This inspired her to become involved with the Big Brothers Big Sisters Organization. As Miss Illinois All American and a proud Big Sister, Elizabeth has made it her mission to raise awareness about OCD and highlight the importance of mentorship for younger generations.
